Family and Consumer Sciences Education - Meade County

The goal of the Family and Consumer Sciences Program is to improve the quality of life for individuals and families. We address the challenges of critical issues affecting people's daily lives in a changing environment. Programs focus on economic, social and physical well-being of our clients. We strengthen personal and family relationships, encourage healthful choices, and identify recources to extend income.



The series will cover the basics of sewing and includes learning how to use a sewing machine, cutting out a pattern and actual construction.

1pm or 6pm (specifiy time when registering)
There is no fee for the class, however you may need to purchase a pattern and fabric.

Must have at least five in each class time period for the class to be a go.  Contact the Extension at 270-422-4958 or come by and pre-register.
